OUR OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

To carry out the continuous improvement activities for preventing occupational accidents by minimizing the risks that will endanger the health and safety of our stakeholders about Occupational Health and Safety.

•    To contribute to the welfare of society in a productive cooperation with all groups affected by our plants. To ensure compliance with and up-to-date follow up with legal and other obligations about Occupational Health and Safety.

•    To take the necessary precaution by making risk assessments in all our plant thus to maximize the safety of our employees, all visitors and subcontractors at the workplace. 

•    To do the necessary work for preventing injuries and health problems, to prevent occupational accidents and occupational diseases. 

•    To create health, safety and environmental integrity by reducing the emergency risks that may occur within the occupational health and safety rules.

Erikoğlu Emaye, believes that sustainability is an integral part of its way of doing business and is committed to conducting its activities in line with environmental, social, and governance principles. Our sustainability approach is based on creating long-term value, conserving natural resources, enhancing societal well-being, and adhering to ethical business practices at every stage of our business processes. This policy has been prepared in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), global sustainability standards, and Erikoğlu Emaye’s ethical principles.

Within the framework of technical and economic possibilities, the company uses appropriate technologies that minimize harm to the environment and conserves natural resources by reducing energy consumption. It conducts production processes that consider environmental impacts and comply with legal regulations, ensuring operations that do not harm the environment. Erikoğlu Emaye also enhances its Environmental Management System to continuously improve environmental performance.

As ERİKOĞLU EMAYE BAKIR TEL SANAYİ A.Ş., we are committed to implementing our energy policy by fulfilling the following:

• Fulfilling our obligations in accordance with legal requirements and other conditions from relevant parties regarding energy efficiency, energy usage, and energy consumption.

• Using energy resources efficiently in all our activities, transitioning to renewable energy sources, utilizing waste energy, and managing potential leaks.

• Keeping up with national and international technological trends, establishing energy standards to purchase equipment and services that incorporate high energy efficiency technologies and methods.

• Prioritizing energy efficiency in our investment, improvement, and R&D projects.

• Raising awareness of all our employees and suppliers regarding energy efficiency, and carrying out efforts to improve our energy efficiency.

• Working with our Energy Team to ensure and support the continuous improvement of energy performance/targets and the Energy Management System.

• Ensuring the availability of the necessary information and resources for the continuous improvement of energy performance/targets and the Energy Management System.
